On an early Friday morning in July, Jerry Runge, owner of J.R.’s Body Shop & Towing in Perkinston, Mississippi flew to New York from Mississippi to pick up his new tow truck from RAMP TRUCKS in Port Jefferson Station. Now the obvious question is “why would someone fly from Mississippi to New York just to buy a tow truck?” Jerry was unhappy with his local dealer so he picked up the latest copy of Tow Times magazine where he saw the RAMP advertisement featuring low monthly payments along with a unique $2,000 fuel card promotion.
Mr. Runge quickly called RAMP and reached Rich Ferrante, Finance Manager of RAMP Tow Trucks. From the very first conversation the customer stated that he found Mr. Ferrante “an absolute pleasure.” The deal was completed over the phone and Mr. Runge flew in from Mississippi to pick up his new Chevrolet C5500 21” Chevron Steel Car Carrier. According to Mr. Runge it was Rich Ferrante’s “straightforward, honest approach that impressed him as much as RAMP’s first-class organization.” He said it was the best automotive experience he’s ever had and highly recommends RAMP TRUCKS. He not only said that he would be back to buy more trucks, but that his daughter will be purchasing a Corvette convertible as well from RAMP’S Corvette Department.
The Chevrolet C5500 is a top-of-the-line towing vehicle, complete with a luxury interior. That along with his $2,000 gas card will provide Mr. Runge a comfortable, quality and economical asset to his business.
